Pretty good day on the Potomac river yesterday. Not pictured are 33 assorted small teeth, a small, two row section of a ray dental plate, crab claws, etc. I'm hoping someone might know what the black object is which is pictured with the leg bone? Cheers!

20200114_195003.jpg - The (deer?) leg bone is in fact fossilized.
20200114_195339.jpg - Not sure what this is, possible horn core? It's solid and heavy.

That is the distal end of a dugong (manatee) rib. There is very little marrow and the bone is very heavy and dense because they used these as ballast to balance the creature underwater.

Your leg bone I would guess with that deep groove is a metapodial, deer looks about right
