Plant or animal?

I'm new to the site, but I found this while rock hunting in my newly landscaped property. I have tons of large sandstone boulders and have found various stones. Does this look like a fossil?

Your item somewhat looks like a cronoid crown or flower head.

I've got rocks and boulders all over that look similar to this one.,

One more rock example. I may have read that these are nodules.
