Central TX .. probably rock but want experts view. Bone? Pretty big.

To me it looks more like a chunk of granite than a fossil.

But I am no expert in either rocks or fossils.

There is a thread here titled "Got a rock you want identified?" or something close to that. Several people are helpful there and can tell you what kind of a rock it is, if it is one. Good luck.
