More similarities than differences? Really? I don't think so.

When you see a fossilized skull in a museum it has been prepared and the fossil exposed after thousands of hours of removing the sedimentary rock matrix it is embedded in. They don't come out of the ground looking like skulls.

What does your rock look like from other angles? Is the rock in the skull cavities different than the mineralized bone of the fossil itself?

Nothing has changed from previous threads it was posted in over last couple years, it is still a rock, any resemblance to dinosaur is caused by pareidolia.

You are comparing your rock to a picture of a fully fleshed head of a Dino, if it was a skull there would be many more holes, division of bones, distinct lines. Those holes would also be filled with a different matrix from the bone.

Thanks for input. I do realize it's not a real dinosaur skull I just was curious how a person gets around pareiltoid because I have found more than one anomalies that ikeep coming across , and dont want to waste time on just rocks

Never bad to ask questions and keep at it, if there is a way to see or handle the real deal, you will get a better feel. I used to have a hard time with na artifacts but now with practice and study they are pretty obvious
