It is very possible we have dug a few small odds and ends and didn't recognize them as being trade items. The quality, eyeballs pop out of your head type trade finds, well they don't happen often, if really at all in these parts. Of course I'm not complaining about my own stomping grounds, just have a taste for many types of dug finds I'll never get my coil over. A Mass tree coin and GW button are others on my list of finds that will never, or should never happen here.... but this is detecting!

Thats a sweet display, I like the axe, really like the cannonballs too!! Not much chance of one out west in the prairies. lol
It is not entirely impossible though as a local story has it that the XY company buried their cannon between trading seasons in the early 1800's and never returned. That would be awesome!!
