    Oh you don't have much luck do you?

    On the lock, post 1800 IMHO with a two screw mounting (not the early 3) and a bridled pan.

    Knife is IMHO a "bayonet," i.e. a early "hand dag." Possibly from a gunstock war club.

    Seal reminds me of George Washington's coat of arms. Not one I have seen before.

    We are going to have to call you "Mr. Ring."

    In my opinion (am I really that opinionated?) the flattened lead balls are game pieces, with or without a central hole. Would be nice to find one with black paint on one side to prove my idea.

    Diameter of the lead balls is significant for fur trade sites. Average for Brits is supposed to be around .54-.56 cal.
