    Fur Trade era Padlock???

    Things are kinda slow right now but soon will be back too digging. Here is a neat Padlock I dug, it has a brass keyplate
    the shape of a crown with RW initials on both sides. Is Origin English or French How old Thanks.

    1830–1837.

    WR stands for William Rex, or King William IV of England.

    Rex is latin for King and the crown kinda gives it away
