French Silver Cross's Clam Shell Mark
Here is something I've found interesting about this Clam Shell Mark which I have seen on a few of my finds.
it is a "French Mark of Discharge"( Poincon De Decharge)
The Shell was the Paris Discharge mark used from October 1756 to September 1762
