found large piece of gold...maybe..

Hello found this and not sure what it is..tested for 18k with acid and a streak plate but the mark never came off the streak plate.its all metal. 20131211_210715.jpg 20131211_220000.jpg 20131215_115829.jpg

What size is it? Looks a piece that dropped after melting? Better photos would be good. Does not look like a object someone would have made with a reason. What could it possibly be used for.

Looks like camp lead.
Dropped melted lead acid won't do anything to it

Lead is very soft compared to Gold, try scratching it with your finger nail.

Measure the volume with a graduated cylinder and water, then weigh it and look it up on a weight per volume chart.

He said it's malleable.. a piece of melted aluminum that thick is very hard and solid.

sorry I forgot to ask if it was a water or land find, Actually copper found in moving water is not green with oxidation but a dull color like picture one and two.

Wouldn't it at least be the color of copper?.. Oh you mean only photos 1 & 2 I was taking into account all the evidence here

I'm not sure what moving water you're talking about but all the copper and bronze I have found on ocean shipwreck sites have been green.
