I’m digging the same spot and it always amazes me there is still stuff to find. I found tons of beads, strung 8 necklaces so far, and more beads to clean, they are so tiny! So, Yesterday, playing with myMD, found 6 bracelets in in one spot and ear bob, and 4 buttons. Wow, just wow! I wonder with that amount of items if a trader lost his stock in trade for some reason.

Awesome find! Can we get a close up of some beads?

These are close up as I can get. We have already cleaned over 2000 beads, and prob have 3k more to go... don’t have a clue why all In one spot, maybe Indians decided not to use them or hadn’t strung them yet, or maybe a trash spot??? In the last picture, the long strand of beads is about 500 on just that one strand!!!! A shovel lol !! The beads were found on top of the ground, then more were found after we scraped the road ( we drive on that road).

This is just more clump of dirt, look how many are in it..... we have tons of dirt left to sift thru. My eyes are getting tired lol, gonna take me weeks to go thru all the dirt, no telling how many are here. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1583210004.367395.jpg

That's Cool! :icon_thumleft:
I found a spot like that also. I took home as much dirt as I could in five gallon buckets. I spent a lot of hours using tweezers separating out the beads. I had one strand with 3000 beads, and it being connected at both ends measured around six feet long. I gave it to my aunt, but something happened to it and when she passed I could not for the life in me find it. Just don't what happened to it. But of course I parted out with quite a few beads to different members here on tnet. I just wish I could find another spot like it.

Yep, we just put dirt in buckets also and brought it in the house. It’s taking us hours to pick them out of the dirt. Tweezers- that’s a great idea, I will try that!!!! Yeah, I have so many, I may give a few to my friends. It’s been rainy here for last two days, can’t wait to check the dirt again lol !!!!

You probably shouldn't excavate with a loader, you will damage artifacts in the various features,...up to you....nice blue Padres and c bracelets....to all of you that sift through a screen,...take a hose and spray the screen with water ,much faster and reveils way more!....goodluck

Thanks for info! We don’t have a screen small enough for these beads lol, had to pick them out by hand (they are tiny). I have a full bucket of dirt to still do , I bet there are 3000 more.... they are beautiful once cleaned but dang it’s a job!!!

Right ,they are seed beads ...you should be ok running them through a 1/8 inch screen (not a 1/4 inch)....then just dump a little dirt at a time out of bucket ,wash with water hose....you will see all your beads! ...goodluck!
