What is this chair?

There are TONS of old chairs in the barn of the house I'm liquidating (see my post in teh caches forum)

Anyways, this one looked nice, so I grabbed it. Anyone have info?

Nice Chair ...but it looks like it had rockers on the bottom of it at one time...go back and grab them too!

it's off it's rockers :D is a nice chair...looks comfortable...sort of victoriany.

Really nice chair....I tried to do some searching...this link will show chairs with similiar look to what you have in the pic, though not the same chair.

That chair you have could be anywhere from the 1890's to the early 1900's. Maybe there is a marking on the chair somewhere that would tell you who made the chair. Then you could research from there. Good luck.
