I'd heard and correctly answered this one a couple years back, and thought I'd post it here from memory. I was just throwing out random numbers, trying to show that each number would cost $2.50. You are correct though, 1482 might have made it a bit easier to solve. I think I've got another wheat cent in really bad shape sittin' around here somewhere.
