I think this may be my first contest here on TreasureNet.

Here are the rules:

This deer was found metal detecting. Be the first person to correctly guess the distance from the tip of the ear to the tip of the tail as shown in the photograph below. If there are no correct answers before the contest ends at midnight on March 17th, the person who has guessed the closest will win. If at any time there is a correct answer, the contest will end and the person that placed that guess will be declared the winner.

One guess per person please. Please use feet and/or inches .. no guesses in metric will be considered.

Please post your guess on this thread so everybody else can see them. That way there should be no duplicate guesses. If there are duplicate guesses, and they turn out to be the winning guess, the person who placed it first will be declared the winner.

The prize: A real nice copy of the book shown below, sent to you via media mail.

I hate to discriminate against the forum members in other countries, but this offer is only good for those living in the lower 48 states./. Sorry.
