Fly fishers will appreciate this one
Stopped by a sale on Sat. because I could see a fly rod travel case and I needed another one to add to my Kayak. A green Cabella's hard case, that appeared to have never been out of the garage, that holds 2 piece fly rod with reel. Priced at 25 so offered 20 and she looked at her sheet and said OK. Got back to the car and unzipped it to see the inside condition....figured it had cola or something spilled inside and too my surprise and pleasure there was a new Cabella's flyrod and Cabella's PrestigeII reel with line!!! Not bad for $20.00

My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

I saw about 20 lures last saturday. They were about 6" long and the hooks were the size of quarters. Must be for big fish. They looked old but I know nothing about fishing equipment so they stayed where they were.

Many of the earlier bass lures were 5-6" long and about 1 1/2" in diameter. You'd be surprised at how small a bass could take it.But seeing as you are on the west coast, they may have been saltwater lures.

Several big deep sea fishing companies within 20 miles of me.
Many years ago, down in Puerto Villarta, Mexico I caught a marlin on a regular lake type fishing rig. I worked on a cruise ship and did some fishing off the fantail. Of course I threw it back, it was 6" long
