AVON is no longer a 4 letter word

When I look for jewelry if I see the word AVON or COOKIE LEE and a few others I automatically drop them right back. But last Sat I found a pile of jewelry and started going through them. I put all the sterling and gold in one pile, added a few more good lookers (to put back down if the owner won't take my price) I got my pile for $5

When i got home I noticed a matching chain, pendant & earring all had sterling stamped on them and AVON. Never would have guessed. (the gold was 3.6 gr & 14K)

I never seem to have much luck finding much silver and gold jewelry but I know I toss it back if I see AVON marked on it, guess I'll start to look a little closer!
