A nice bit of history found in old scrapbook

I bought several old scrapbooks over the weekend and started going through them today. Here are some photos from the first one. A lot of good stuff if your into this kind of thing. It belonged to a woman named Jeannie Stella Ziemian. She attended The Pratt Institute in Brooklyn N.Y. in 1936.A nice bit of history found in old scrapbook-jeannie.jpg

That will make interesting reading, especially when you read the little notes attached.

Yes it will. The others look like mostly old newspaper clippings glued in them. But it will be interesting to read through them all.

The lady I bought them from said they belonged to her aunt who passed recently but it's not her aunts books, she guesses they belonged to a friend of hers.

On a side note- I found this last night while researching. The one in this book is from 1937.

I'll hold onto it for now. Maybe I can find a relative of this person. It'd be nice to give it to them. But if that doesn't work out then i'd give it some thought.

That book is chock full of Americana. I would hold on to it for a while, it may have some value.

So many times these things give a bit of a view to some ones life at the time. I do like finding them.
