    925 dancers

At the last stop on my route today I came across this statue of dancers. They stand 19" tall and about 14" across. Marking on back says sterling-925 and made in Italy. No mfg. name. As a big fan of dancing with the stars, I had to give it a shot. $45.00. As with all deals that seem to good to be true, I'm wondering if I found a treasure or got took. Any coments. P

Size is listed above also about 6" deep. Don't know weight maybe 10# with base, but thats just a guess.

Silver is currently selling for $17.41 per oz. That is $278.56 per pound. If statue weighs 10# you have $ 2785.60 worth of silver.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

What a hunk of silver that us!! Congrats
My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

    Re: 925 dancers

Here's the latest on the sculpture. Thin layer of silver over wax. probably no more than 4 or 5 oz. So I took it to the swap meet yesterday and sold it for $250. Not the Treasure I hoped for but a tidy profit anyway.
