$10 metal detector!

I bought a nice Discovery 1100 detector at a yard sale today for $10! It is in very good condition and I posted a question on the water hunting section of this forum asking how to mount this detector in a waterproof housing/box. Any ideas here? Some have suggested that I sell this one and apply the profit toward a water machine but I don't know if that is the way to go.

i have no ideal about how to waterproof it, but
maybe you can try to trade yours for one that
is waterproof.
whatever you do, good luck on it.

goto otterbox.com and buy the Otterbox3500( make sure you get the clear one. so you can see if water seeps in) the drill your holes, attach to your machine and seal them with a waterproof poxy...viola waterproofed detector
