I bought a jar of fake pearls for idk what reason and inside was 2 broken 14k gold necklaces and i took them to a jewelry store and have me 50 bucks for both of them! I think i did good turning 4 bucks into 50 bucks !! dont have a pic because i sold them.

thought the same exact thing...most jewery store will jipped ya on the price...you better know exactly what your doing if you take gold or sterling to a jewery store or you will be mad when you find out how much they jipped you after it is long gone....

It's too late in this circumstance, but in Maryland gold buyers need a license and must keep your stuff for 18 days. You might check the law in your state. The next time someone says "Hey that store gave me $20 for all my gold ", you can tell them to go get it back and you'll pay them 25% more.

If the gold buyer didn't keep the gold as is law . . . well I would demand a "sellers regret" fee of 100% the price, or else the state will be calling.
