I went to an auction a few weeks ago, and bought two boxes for a dollar. All it had was a bunch of nic-nac items. I was searching through ebay the other day, and stumbled upon vintage hand written recipies. So I started looking though completed listings, and they sell for big money. I'm unsure why, but if you find them at garage sells or auctions buy them! I had two old metal box recipes boxes with well over a hundred recipes in them from the 60s or 70s. It had a clipped picture of Martha Stewart when she was really young. I'm sure people know about them, but this is for those who don't.

Had no idea. I just sold a "fine old dixie recipes cookbook" for $47.99 that I got for $1 but now i'll be keeping an eye out for those too, thanks for the tip.
