goodwill gold and silver

Picked up these 2 items today at Goodwill. The first is a religious medal marked "CREED Sterling". It was in a big metal case and it was fastened from the inside so I couldnt accurately guess its weight even though it seemed heavy at the time. Unfortunately, when I got it home and unfastened I learned that it only weighs 5 grams so I basically broke even on it. Luckily, I picked up a 14K gold bezel that had some sort of engraved Jade? disc inside. It is about the size of a nickel. It is marked 14K at the top of the loop and the same shiny gold can be seen inside and out. It weighs 1.3 grams so I guess I did alright with this one.
Paid $12 for both.

I gave up on checking at Goodwill, just hit the smaller thrifts.
