    any clue of who the artist are? all i can make out on painting 2 is J.H.

    Google for Kestutis Kasparavicius, authour and illustrator of children's books, for the first one. The second looks to me like J.H. Lim or J.H. Lam.

    I'm not sure if its him because he was born in 1954 and the painting looks like its dated 1951
