Vintage wilson-neuman Rangar by Daytona
Have no idea what to offer, it looks like the one in the link except has Rangar by Daytona on the side.
What should I offer? the lady is a client of mine and we are on good terms, but she is no pushover.
Re: Detectorists...How much to pay, vintage detector
Easy, ask her what she wants for it, then go down from there (unless it's a crazy low price). First you have to make sure it works. Explain to her that it's obsolete and would basically be used as a wall hanger by a collector. However, I have read very good things about this machine and I would have to give it a whirl myself, to see if it lives up to the hype.

Re: Detectorists...How much to pay, vintage detector
That was exactly my approach when I first saw the machine. I asked her how much she wanted for it. The answer..."wholesale"
thus my predicament. I don't want to lowball her, yet I want to get it at a decent price.
