What I Bought to Sell This Weekend...
Hit a few sales this Saturday...had to cut it a little short because daughter had dance...here's what I picked up....
Levi's 560 jeans (pd. $1.00) - sold in one day for $7.99
Fire King jadite cup and saucer (pd. $2.00) - listed
4 Ralph Lauren Polo Golf shirts, like new (pd. $15) - listed
Orginal Xbox System with 32 games (pd. $10) - not yet listed
I'll be happy to post results as they go.
Figured doing this might help each of us see what we're buying and what's selling...

OH! Wife and daughter, who decided they would go with me that morning...found two authentic Coach pocketbooks and paid $10 each...they won't let me sell them

Sounds familiar, and I'd bet you had to pay for them too!

OK...here's some results as the auctions begin to end...
Levis ($1 pd.) - sold $7.99
Fire King Cup ($2 pd.) - not yet sold
3 Ralph Lauren Polo shirts ($3.75 ea. pd. - son took the 4th) - $19.99 - learned a lesson on these - bundled the three - but could have probably gotten $15 ea. if I sold them seperately...sometimes lessons cost money to learn
Original Xbox system and 32 games ($10 pd.) - system was a bust - trashed it - 32 games sold for a cool $51
Net results (not including fees): Spent $24.25/Sold $78.98 = $54.73

I made a spreadsheet to track my buys and sells with OpenOffice (free). Don't forget to include the ebay fees and other assorted fees (shipping, parts, etc). This helps me see if I am REALLY making any money. It also lets me see what kinds of items made me the most profit and which ones were a bust (so I know what to focus my search on).
