Nice! How much did you pay for it?

Been a slow year for me so far. Picked up about 275 war nickels for 15 cents each and another 100+ dated (teens and 20s) buffaloes for 20 cents each. Picked up an high grade 1883 without cents and 1912D V Nickels for 95 cents each. Both have a little mint luster on them.

Picked up an 14k gold bracelet for $1.50.

But I only go on Fridays. The weekend is for detecting.

My never before seen Marilyn Monroe photos and Jayne Mansfield negatives I got for $15. Currently have Christie's and Sotheby's both interested but the estimates are all over the place. They say it depends on who shows up to bid. Ranging from $1400-$50,000. Find of my lifetime actually.

$20 and that was the seller's price not an offer my me. I did not make a counter offer, I gladly paid the twenty dollars and went on my way.

Picked 2 Morgan Dollars with rare VAMs at spot (worth about $250 each). Picked some rolls of wheat pennies with many 1909 VDB (most UNC), sold all for $450+. Picked a 14K bracelet for 25 cents (melted at $200).

Did you list with a BIN of 599? I see you got only 8 page views before it sold.

Yes, it was a BIN, I know it could have gotten more at auction if listed internationally, but I am not at all comfortable with eBay policies that leaves me hanging without signature confirmation which is not available through the USPS. I no longer ship outside the USA. Also wanted quick cash to give to my grandson for a special event (easy come easy go.)

Your description of the clock is excellent.

I bought out an estate of all the books they had, close to 1000 and paid $250. Most were inscribed and signed by the authors. No Stephen Kings or anything like that. Books dated from the late 50s to present. Made my money back on the first couple of books. One of the best was a paperback signed by the author (Glenn Shirley) I think I got about $75 for that one. I still put a couple out on feebay when things are slow to test the market. Summer is just a hard time to sell books.
