    fast turnaround

Pull up to a yardsale and see a metal outdoor fireplace. Price was $20. Lady took $10. As I was talking to her, someone else came up and wanted to buy it. The lady said it was sold and the person looked disapointed so I said I'd sell it to them. $20. Sold. $10 profit in 30 seconds. Thats like $1200 per hour.

question is since we didn't see it, what was real value? was it really a deal or did you duke your own self?

Don't ya love it when that happens !

I bought a Franklin fireplace stove at an auction a few months ago for $35 , it had a fireplace screen that came with it , but it didn't fit it - a guy gave me $25 out in the parking lot for the screen .

It wasn't an antique. I was just going take to the swap meet. Probably ask 30 take 20. So now no schlepping.

Actually it's just $10 in an hour. It's only $1200 if it's repeatable.
