Some old spoons and some wheaties

Found some pretty good stuff at the sales........These spoons were $1 a piece. One of the spoons looks like is is handmade--you can see on the back where the handle is applied to the bowl. The design reminds me of the pineapple designs in old furniture. I think the two small spoons are silver, but neither one is marked.
The Hotel Atlanta spoon is also really neat---could this be a childs spoon? It has some markings on the back: ??TT STRL(or STAL) and a circle with another mark inside--If anyone can tell me who the maker is, I sure would appreciate it.

The wheat pennies came from another garage sale and the old man wanted $3 for all. They are all inside a wooden box that says "GEM JR. Slide File". Each penny has a sleeve and there are 55 pennies in the box. The dates are 1910 P, 1914, 1914 P, 1916, 1917, 1917 P, 1918, 1918 P, 1919, 1919 P, 1920, 1920 P, 1924, 1925 P, 1925, 1926, 1926 P, 1927, 1929 D, 1930 P, 1935 P, 1935 D, 1936, 1936 P, 1937, 1937 P, 1939, 1940 S, 1942 S, 1944 D, 1944 S, 1948, 1949 D and 1953 S. Are any of these key dates or should I just sell them as a lot? Would they even be worth putting on eBay as a lot?

with the coins anything without a D OR S is a P so your 1914 an 1914p is the exact same coin. now on to value... it all determined with condition so I would put them in small lots an have close ups of each coin front an back.. altho most probly are worth much...

They don't seem to be in very good condition, creeper, as most are pretty worn. I might just break them up into lots(like the teens, 20's, 30's and 40's, ect..) I just wanted to ask and make sure before selling......Thanks for the help!

I thought that's what it might be, but the spoon looks more like stainless steel than sterling . I need to do some research on the "Hotel Atlanta" and see when it was in business.

I would say to keep the wheats. They are worth about 2 cents each, maybe 3 cents. In the future, when pricing out wheats for purchase, I wouldn't pay more than 3 cents each unless you know one is a high grade and/or a good date.

The absence of "S" mint marks, except for your later dates, indicates someone had picked through this coin collection. Generally, the S is more valuable.

It was the little box the coins were in that I wanted anyway, so the coins were just an extra for me. I will just keep them. I need to study up more on coins, but there is so much to learn!
