Vintage tin toy Shield and Scabbard - England? Any idea?

Any toy experts out there that may be able to ID this vintage tin shield and scabbard?
I'm sure it has helped slay many a dragon in its day.
There is no print anywhere on either piece. Looks to be possibly 1960's I'm guessing.
    English design?
    Company?
    Any info would be great.

    Thanks,
    MM

Mattel and Marx put out some Prince Valliant and king Arthur shields/swords similar to this in the 50's -early 60's. I'm not sure which company yours is from I'd say it's worth @ $100 to the right buyer. Regardless of what it's worth it's a great find Breezie please let us know what you think :-{)

It's odd that it isn't marked anywhere (it was probably on the sword). With the fleur de lis and being the colors of the French flag maybe that's the direction to search. I'd almost bet it was part of a Halloween costume originally but it might have just been a knights play set sold back then. What ever it is it's pretty cool, I love old toys. I hope you get an ID on it. Good luck,

    Thanks for the info guys.
Halloween is coming up, maybe I can dress up?
I wish I had the sword to go with it too.
