    Taxco Silver Bracelets

Found these 2 in a box of costume jewelry I bought for one price.
The one I know for sure is Taxco, and it sold within 15 mins of it being listed. Kinda sad though, went to a silver buyer and not a collector, but a buyer is a buyer.

The second one pictured I am not sure about. Is it Taxco? Pretty sure it is, but would love a second opinion.

Nice pieces. What did the one sell for?
I can make out Hecho En Mexico but I can't see the inner marking on it(too blurry). I know it's hard to get good photos of stamp marks but maybe you can see it better in person. Is it an Eagle? Also, can you make out the partial letter stamped on the part that says Sterling under the .925? It looks like _ HX? It's a great looking piece, that's for sure. Probably Taxco, there are entire books devoted to their different markings. What is the stone, do you know?

    Re: Taxco Silver Bracelets

First piece sold for 50, which is pretty much the going price for that one on Ebay...I was happy with it.
My first thought is opal on the stones, one has a crack which can happen with temp changes and such.
Considering the age, it doesn't surprise me. Going to do a little more research on this before it gets sold, want to verify the "OPALisity"
And yes it is an eagle (which suggests to me Taxco), can't make out the other letters

Congratulations. Taxco stuff is awesome. Those guys are true masters of their craft. I think the jewels in the bracelet may be abalone.

    Re: Taxco Silver Bracelets

I sold one at the antique mall recently that was nearly identical to the one in the top pic. I got $40 for it but it wasn't Taxco. The eagle/snake/cactus mark was kinda worn as well. I sold it as silver and abalone.
    LMAO
