    past 2 weekends update

Ok, I am a little late posting my finds with pics so here they are from the past 2 weekends. Just so everyone knows in the past 2 weeks, I have experienced an earthquake, hurricane, tornado warning, been in a car wreck, and bought a new car (and on top of all that I still made it out to lots of garage sales)!

1st pic shows an Aladdin Stanley thermos (very large), brass urn/vase made in England, Brownie black/white and color camera with bakelite body, Dunbar hand operated drill, nice old hand saw, copper claw sugar/ice tongs, Budweiser lamp/sign piece (cheap plastic), "Bar is Open" light up sign and clock (nice piece and works great). Not pictured is a vintage stereo receiver; Pioneer SX-525 and about 13 vinyl records (some decent).

2nd pic shows a Jack Daniels wood framed sign/poster and a Pabst Blue Ribbon wood framed sign/poster (the PBR sign is not for sale).

3rd pic shows a "Precision" drafting tool set made in Germany by Friedmann company #347 (has most of the tools and has a label of the previous owner in Philly). Also in the pic is a rustic parsley grater made in France (Marque Deposee Persilette) and a 1930s era Lionel boxcar #1514 Baby Ruth w/ green roof (missing parts to the sliding door but in overall good condition).

4th/5th pics are of my rides. The BMW I just bought yesterday and it is my first "nice" car. It is a certified pre-owned 2009 BMW 128i with super low miles! The van is a 1988 Ford E-350 and that is what hauls me around when I go to yard sales and flea markets (Home Depot, etc)...

You got some good finds there as long as you bought cheap. I have 2 of that same Thermos. The bar is open should get you about $25. Too bad the boxcar is missing the door and bottom slider, nice pre-war piece anyway. Someone sold the same parsley grate on ETSY, but it doesn't show for how much. The drafting tools will seel if you don't list them too high. And yes the vase/urn is a spittoon.

I probably overpaid a bit more than I normally would for this stuff but I should still make a little money. What do those Thermos's go for and do you sell them on ebay or locally?

I've never sold any of them but it looks like they sell for around $10 on ebay for the 944dh's when they sell. I forgot I have the lunchbox too, I may have to list the set now.
