some people call me the creeper ,cuz they don't know my name or face - Alice Cooper
It's made in Japan but it is still a decent vintage cookie jar. There are several styles pot bellied stove cookie jars that were produced. The one from the 1950's was made by Amerian Bisque, then in the early 1960's McCoy came out with their version, other companies such as Twin Winton, Treasurecraft and various California Potteries also made versions as well as a few different ones from Japan. I think youre dates to the early 80's. List it as "Vintage Ceramic Pot Bellied Stove Cookie Jar," put in your description that it would make a lovely addition to your collection and/or a nice companion piece to the McCoy or American Bisque version.
As for the copper piece, it looks like a Turkish import from the 70's. IMHO
