cast iron doorstop

my great find today was this basket o flowers door stop....i took it to an antique dealer here in town and he said its vintage....i found it on the ground under a table..i think somebody stashed it there...she had it marked 7$ and i paid 5...it was a one day sale at grandmas house.....there are numbers on the back but i dont think i can see em all also the c in a circle....

thanks momma...i think its original paint...if not somebody did a real good job on it...not an ameturish job at all...there is some dust and petina on it.....how could i tell...
