Anyone know anything about these .They are all sighned by artist.Cant make out signitures.found in western ky the tall green one measures about 7" and looks to be tom wintczak 05,The short green one measures 4" and looks to be signed dewey< the tan one measures about 7 " and is stamped conner prarie 2003 gm
They are Southern folk art pieces called face jugs. Way cool and some bring big time dough. I really like them Got any details size , where you bought them ect.....

As far as the Dewey marked piece goes, I don't know but since your other 2 pieces were from Indiana potters, that may be a clue as to the Dewey piece too. I also have a small Dewey Jug, here it is-

I found some "jugs" once at a garage sale too, but they were attached to a stingy 45+ divorcee!
In all seriousness though, look at the bottom of your find (for maker's marks) and then start googling & ebaying to come up with like matches. In this way you'll be able to find out if you've got trash or treasure....

Did you read the posts above? He already "looked at the bottom" of the jugs and they were identified...
