Translation?
Found this watercolor painting at a sale. Estate didn't know anything about, other than it was "old". I bought it for $10. We like it and plan on displaying it, but it would be nice to know more about it. Thanks for any help. Measures 7 1/2" 8 3/4" unframed.

Re: Translation?
Hey Seano!
I'm having difficulty making out most of the letters. However if you can transcribe the handwriting into text, you can translate it with a number of free web apps. I'd start with http://translate.google.com/ Paste your text, take a stab at what language it is and see what you get. The translations are literal word for word. For example you might get"Repayment is a female dog." in another language if you translated "Paybacks are a ." from English. Also, different languages order their words differently, so you may have to channel your inner Yoda; "Female Dogs, payments returned are." Say that in Yoda's creepy falsetto and you won't have to worry about , ever.

Thanks Batcap. I think we're just going to keep it, it's starting to grow on us.

Re: Translation?
Wow, 400 posts and I never got a finger wag - never even saw one before- and here I get two in the same post. I thought you could say both on broadcast TV-just saying because the 2nd wag could infer something much worse than it was. It was just a joke referencing the popular misconception that nerds can't get girlfriends.
I will be more careful of my word choice in the future.

You don't have to be more careful. 400 posts and that's the only time you've ever had an "adjustment" in one, you are doing great!
