Found this one today and I have no idea what material the purple and green mottled beads are made of. Any ideas what these beads are or who the designer may be? I can't find any indication of makers mark.

Thanks

Do you think it is glass? In person it looks like plastic, bc it is opaque. How would I tell though? I was kind of hoping it was Bakelite or something. Don't know how to test it though. It was the strangest combination of colors I've ever seen. Plus, what do you have to lose for $3. GOD, how I love thrift stores!!! My fiancé said a few weeks ago "honey, I think it is time for an intervention". Me, "what?". Him "you know, your thrift store addiction"....just can't help myself. LOL ;)

Was this purchased for yourself or for resale?

I purchase most of the vintage costume jewelry for resale (unless it looks much better on me than on eBay). ;)

It all started when I was buying pins to use as part of my centerpieces for my wedding. I am using bug pins with orchid bc my fiancé has his own pest control company.

It looks very Coro in style, and from here it looks like thermoset plastic. Neat!

Looking at a few pics on Google, the coro design is about the closest I've seen. I also found a weird pair of chunky red earrings that fit this coro style nicely. I've attached a pic if all of the items I found that day. The earrings are on the bottom row.
