Hello y'all!

Sales have been stinking miserable in these parts lately, raining almost everyday
and the few sales are driving me to make some less than desirable buys, the kind of
purchases that are made out of desperation. The kind that require actual work to
recoup the cash. Not a big deal, but I paid $100. for a plated flatware set.:BangHead:

I walked away a couple times as the asking price was $150. and that was a no way deal.
After accepting my offer I shuddered and took this set home...

Unknown maker but in such nice condition I am taking a chance/loss.
Feel free to come kick me and my silver plated rear! You will have to
join in the end of the line please, I am in the first 10 spots!

I'm with you on this. Not my first choice, but if you get the right person and are not in a rush, these do sell. Think about it this way --- if you just got married and you need a set of flatware -- decent stainless steel will run you a few hundred dollars. The pattern resembles Oneida's Raphael.

Don't worry too much.

This set will sell eventually, either as a whole set, or pieced out.

We all make buying mistakes; it is hard to avoid the pitfalls. The important part is that you learn from both the successes and the mistakes.

I've bought plenty of mistakes, but thankfully, almost all of them have worked out in the end.

Thanks! I am almost done kicking myself, maybe it will sell or it will make a fine present for a relative or something...
Really was hoping for some abuse so I don't do this again anytime soon.:laughing7:

Ohhh, you want some abuse. Okie doke.

You meat-head! If you wanna throw away money, just send it to us!
Geez Louise, that set is gonna sit on your shelf for the next 5 years.
And besides, I don't like the pattern.....or the box. So there.

That enough? I'll go on if you really need to learn your lesson. 8-)

Could be worse, least you should be able to get most if not all of your money back on it.

I think it's a good looking set
