Fishing sinker?

I'm wondering if anyone knows the proper name for these. They look like sinkers however some have a hook on them so I'm not sure how to list them. The last picture is some other sinkers that were with these. Thanks.















The larger ones we nine and half ounces each.

I think they are lures. That's what my dad called them

They are 9.5 oz each. I wish they were silver!

I believe they are called jigging lures.

We used to call them spoon-bill sinkers

The first one kind of looks like the Andy Warhol banana.

The big ones are called tuna jigs.

The ones with a hook in them are used for Snagging a fish by vertically dropping the weighted hook down and jerking it straight up.
Or "Tuna Jigs" as they are more commonly called.

The yellow ones are "Diamond" sinkers. Their shape will not allow them to get hung up on the bottom when you are fishing structure or
plunking eggs for fish, typically Salmon. Used tons of them when I lived in WA.

Awesome! Thank you everyone for your reply! They were in my uncles tacklebox and it got so hot in his garage that most of the Lures melted.
