Too cool looking to pass up. Hoover Constellation Four-Fifty-Four. Mid 50's. Didn't realize exactly what it was when I bought it and, yes it does float. Runs and sucks great. Exhaust out the bottom makes it hover. Half price at Goodwill. Paid $4

It amazes me the 50's stuff you can find, many things that were, in a way, sort of, ahead of their time. I love my automatic drop chrome 50's Toastmaster toaster, my 50's Oster can opener / ice crusher combo unit, my 50's Sunbeam aluminum electric skillet & so on. Tho I prefer my 1920's waffle iron & popcorn popper over most of the ones from the 50's.

50's stuff was so imaginative & well made. The atomic era, starbursts, round, chrome, cool & also kinda funky.. Ya I like most 50's stuff!
