Anybody sell anything this first day of 2014? I've made $11.05 on a pair of earrings. Glad to start off with something! Happy new year!

I sold a tool today, with about $20 profit.

I sold far more yesterday than I have today. Sold almost $200 yesterday, but only the one tool today.

With precious metal prices near their lows, I'm more inclined to be a buyer versus a seller.
Don.......

I would like to save what I find but then I would never have any $. I save coins I don't have and most gold if there is no stones in it. Other then that have to sell it to keep the flow going.

I only had one sale today so far. I sold a shirt for 17.00. It's been really quiet. The last three days been great though. I had around $500 in gross sales. I have only sold things really for about 5 months so I don't know how slow things might be in January. If it is, I'll just build inventory.

A Movado Men's watch will be my first sale of 2014. Still has a day left but should be a nice little profit from it. Happy 2014 to all.

Still on my holiday time off, but you might as well call it sick leave. :laughing7: So I have only sold a handful of things over the last 10 days, but did buy a gold bracelet and new detector. :tongue3: Figured I'd get that out of the way to get my focus back to making money and not spending it. Detectors definitely don't owe me anything, and I made $500 on the last gold chained I owned, so I'm not really feeling a whole lot of guilt about my purchases.

I have no idea what my first sale of 2014 will be, but whatever it is there will be a whole lot to follow it. :)

I have been really busy at work so I have not been listing much, but I just sold a Tivo HD I originally picked up new and factory sealed for only $11.99. I love it when a thrift store lets something slip by like that. My wife wanted to try it out, and then did not want it. Breaking the seals really cut the resale and it was a 2007 model, but I still made good money on it. May the rest of the year be good for all of us!

A set of 4 of these wall sconce lights that I have $0 in as someone was going to throw them away & I saved em. Sold them on a FB garage sale site for $25 for all 4 in about 15 minutes. & right afterwards sold these 18 shot glasses on FB as well for $15 (had $0 in these as well) but they were listed the day before. I also saved these from going in the dumpster one day. Both items sold on the 1st about an hour apart.

First thing I sold this year are two sets of Chinese cloisonne meditation balls.

DSC02084.JPG DSC02088.JPG

I bought 8 pairs of these for $20 at a local flea market. I sold the 2 pairs above for $10 each. Not a huge score but I should eventually make $50 bucks or so off them.

Ok, I'm on the board with a coin sale.

I'd be happier about my new detector arriving if I could use it!
