S Kirk is a well known maker. Do you know the name of the pattern?

That's a really nice piece... Kirk can sell for a very high premium, I mean very high !! :tongue3: I've heard stories about people turning crazy profits on Kirk Silverware. :occasion14: Really nice find and for melt, can't beat it !! :icon_thumleft:

I live within walking distance of the Stieff Building. I haven't passed by recently at night but the signage is still up, and they lit it for years after the Stieff business was gone. Oh the rumours you'd hear about employees flinging silverware out of the upper floors to recover after work. I confess I detected two very steep hills behind the building, and no I didn't find any silver whatsoever.
