Hope all had a good weekend. First let me say thank you to all who help and try to help and comment on all the treasures I have found. So now I got another new treasure from a estate sale. I am trying to figure out what this may have been used for. It is carved from wood. When I saw it I thought gee interesting and that it looks like a game of some sort. I say that as the bottom is that of a spinning top shape and then the top looks like a ring toss, lol. It shows wear on the bottom and at the top. Like where it was handled. But who knows. It is a well done carved piece. Any ideas. I was thinking it came from easter islands or new guinea? Any thoughts. DSC07187.JPG DSC07188.JPG DSC07189.JPG

Interesting piece. I buy cool carved pieces whenever/wherever I find them. My guess is a jewelry holder, with rings on the posts in the base, and necklaces/bracelets on the top. The rounded bottom is peculiar. Maybe to give it a bobble-head effect?
