I'm always if not on the road home alone Friday nights as my wife works till 9pm on that night. I read and look at this forum and nothings ever on TV then and I look at my watch and see I have an hour and a half to hit the two TS near buy. They don't have any discounts on this Friday night and it's very slow in customer traffic. I if anything just go out of boredom. I do know the worker are filling the shelves up Friday night as Saturday is the big everything, but one tag 1/2 off sale day. So at times if you can't make the Saturday sale your best to pay full price on a 7 dollar treasure as it's not worth losing it over $3.50. I couldn't find much, but did get a almost new looking 12" Mag-Lite for $3.99 The batteries were leaking and corroded the spring in the back end cap, but it works and its a good flashlight. The other item I picked up is this Pottery Egg and even carried it to the cash register half way and turned around as I had 2nd thoughts? I put it on the shelf and didn't take my hand off it and said "what the heck"?..I'll get it. I headed back to pay for the flashlight and this dang egg. I know it's a tough one to ID the thousands of studio art potters, but does any one know who made this Dragon hatching egg? To me the signature looks like "Thompson" dated 1989. It cost me 8 bucks. Today if I had the time would have only cost me 4 bucks.

I don't know anything about it other than it should sell for far more than the $8. That is like geek porn.

Found this one pretty quick:
Dennis Thompson Blue Hatching Dragon Egg 1998 Signed Pottery | eBay

Not the same obviously, but gives you more info,
Thank you! I always wonder how you guys locate the ID on some stuff. I do it all the time and do it well. Trust me "Dragon Egg" is what I raked thru and went past that price range and saw nothing. Saw a few Dragon eggs and none at that price selling. Heck I'll list this one for 59.95? plus the eye looks like a real cabochon opal?, but could be a man made one? ...Geek porn?...Is that like the cast of "Revenge of the Nerds" in a dirty movie??
For the file records

Here is an article about the artist. These are all original works of art. No two are alike. I would use to help sell the egg.

DENNIS THOMPSON |
Wow, Dennis Thompson is an educated and skilled artist. I'm glad I didn't change my mind on putting it back on the shelf. I take the weight of items I plan to sell in consideration because of the cost of shipping may keep a good profit from being realized. Jewelry is so perfect as it involves minimal freight. This thing isn't lite, but it should fit in the $10.50 I think it is? flat rate box. My wife asked what it was that caused me to buy it. I just said you don't see it and I do? She has a very minimal eye for art. In a way, I'm happy many people don't have that eye cause that's how we pickers can come to discover the treasures of discarded master pieces. Well maybe the egg isn't that, but it did stop me in my tracks on my 2nd go-around thru the store. I didn't see it on the first run. It just spoke to me enough to pull the trigger on it. Great promo on the artist, Thanks!

I did that and the s phone was d loading very well. just couldn't find a positive hit on it so I just went with my gut. Don't let that gut feeling part of you ever get rusty. It will always be a great weapon in your arsenal, do keep it services and ready to go. You never know what may come your way and you've got no bars to find out.
