I bought these sunglasses last Spring for a dollar . I wore them a few times and I didn't like the strait temples , so I stuck them in a junk drawer . The past few days I started getting another " junk drawer lot " together for Ebay . I got them out today to add to the lot - NOPE - I looked them up - they do very well by themselves .
Within ten minutes after listing them I received 2 emails asking me to do BIN . One was for $100.00 , The other was $125.00 . I said no to both ( I just don't do BIN ) the few times I did it , it came back to bite me .
Anyway , they are getting bids - I hope they go for more than $125.00 / fingers crossed - Vtg American Optical 1 10 12K GF 5 1 2 Aviator Sunglasses Vietnam Era | eBay

Good luck! When people ask me to end early with an offer I usually tell them to put in their maximum bid of $X amount of dollars (what they just offered me) and wish them good luck.

Picked up a gold ring in a faded pink velvet ring box in 2013. Sold the ring for a decent profit & threw the ring box in the shoe box I keep jewelry boxes in. About a month ago I had a friend ask for some boxes so I dug through the shoe box to give her some. When I opened the pink velvet box I realized it was Tiffany so I listed it on ebay last week. Auction ended a few minutes ago for $152.50 & I got paid almost immediately.

I'm glad I didn't accept the BIN offers , it's up to $202.50 . Interesting - 11 different bidders , 7 of them are from Vietnam - must be a hot item over there .

That is why you never accept an offer on an auction. Let it run! Congrats.

Couple more high dollar hats! Got each for a little under a dollar, sold the Nintendo for $75 to someone in Australia and the Polo for $78, both on etsy.

"Went to an estate sale yesterday found this crayon box hiding in a cabinet way in the back under some other stuff. I opened it expecting to find pencils and found some packages marked silver. No way of really testing it so I took a chance. I asked the guy how much he said miscellaneous box for a $1.00. When I got home and actually had a chance to look through it and test everything in it to my surprise 888 g of silver and 18.6 g of gold.Click image for larger version."

Wow that is an amazing find for $1!

Here are a couple recent finds that cost .75 between the two of them. The necklace (.50) sold for $65 and change and the key chain (.25) sold for $47.99.

I would have passed on that key chain. Looks like another thing I need to research. Why did it sell for that much?
