Got this 67 breitling aopa navitimer 18k for a quarter 25cents. Put1200.00 in a restoration with new old stock from Horological Services and flipped it for 8500.00 View attachment 1284511
Okay this is insane... Whyd you not make a thread for this?? Where'd you find it? Reminds me of the story of the guy who found a $35,000 watch at a thrift for $3

Two quick ones. Had the pendant online for probably six months. No offers so I reduced it and took the first offer $45. Paid $.25 for it in August. Second one was a video game controller console portable DVD player whatever it is. That was a dollar did not have a power cord for it but happy with the return either way!

Sorry guys, I wish I had a cool story but it's fowl river Alabama, an estate sale. Really a junk sale but I spent 1.25 on two items. The first I paid a quarter for and it was the navitimer. The second item, I spent 1.00 on and it was a Hank Williams Jr coffee cup with a guitar handle. At the time, even kooler. I gave the man 2.00 and said keep the change

So being in South Florida at the thrift stores were able to get really nice jackets for really cheap. This one was not a really nice jacket. It had dirt on it and stains and look like it's from the 1980s. Which are good qualities because that's exactly when it's from! The dirt came off and the stains came off and it was a great purchase for $.99! And it sold to Switzerland for $149+ $ 64 priority mail.

I bought this racing suit at a garage sale for $1, and I sold it on e**y for $320 plus shipping. I bought the Lee and his generals cromolithograph at the flee market for $1, and sold it on E**y for $500 plus shipping.

Wow, what a score on that Breitling. Congratulations!

I would assume they did not. They rely on the tracking info.
I picked this knife up a few months ago for $1.25 & sold it for $149. Turns out this type knife was used to make the gloves Freddy Kreuger used. I would have posted it a while ago but the buyer said they never got it. Tracking showed it was delivered. Buyer checked with the post office & said they admitted they delivered to the wrong address. After a few weeks of back & forth I finally got the buyer to make a claim through the eBay system. Ebay decided in my favor due to tracking & I'm assuming they gave the buyer a refund.

I don't share every hat sale that I bought for .99 here, otherwise I'd spam the heck out of the thread, but figured this was a highlight. Bought for .99, sold for $80+shipping!

This was a dollar this weekend. I actually almost passed on it went looked it up, and ran back to the table. I don't know why I was being so stingy on a dollar but KJL were the letters.
