Never use the hot needle test for anything. Some early plastics are very flammable. Here is a very informable blog concerning all plastics, including testing methods, relating to jewelry.So they are a plastic?? Someone told me that a way to test for Bakelite is to poke it with a hot needle.. was i told wrong his whole time?
