Thanks for the replies and for keeping this thread alive. One day I'll be back out on the garage sale circuit and will have some more of my own finds to post. I am on a break at the moment, I've been dealing with the loss of my wife.:sad10:
So sorry to hear. Will keep you in my thoughts.

Truly sorry to hear this. You are in my thoughts, Diggumup. You have helped all of us on here, many times. I wish there was something I could do for you at this time. It is like you are a friend I haven't met. I wish I could help.

T.

Sorry about the loss of your wife! As was mentioned, you have been a great contributor and teacher to us all. They say time heals all wounds, but I think it doesn’t heal, it just becomes a dull ache. My prayers are with you.

I went to a yard sale that had a dime table. I bought a key chain with a 1964 Kennedy half dollar on it and a brand new 5 by 7 American flag. 20 cents total.

Id like to get in on this stuff. There is a thrift shop right here next to my house, but I wouldnt even know where to begin if I went in there and then what I would price stuff at?

Took some Display cases the refinery that the owner had bought. Small ones. Dropped them off he said I could pick some silver out of the scrap bin for free:

Bought these plate for .99 cents each at GW. Sold them within 24 hours for quick cash. The buyer got them and asked for more. They sell for about $70 each and he got a great deal. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1551206495.681493.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1551206514.397921.jpg

Bought this small pitcher for 99 cents after I looked it up on my phone. A cup and saucer in this pattern is over $100 on eBay, and they sell quickly. I lowered the price from $150 to $119 and it sold within 12 hours. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1552266155.515752.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1552266164.559850.jpg

I'm going to have to go through my pics and inventory because I should have some doozies to post! For now though, my best score to date. I was hiking on my property along an old fence line. I noticed one of the fence posts was strangely beautiful so I cut it down. No fence was attached any more by the way. I posted it to Instagram and was told it was Diamond willow and that this size would be worth quite a bit to the right person. Posted on etsy for $300+ $30 shipping, sold in 2 hours! Not bad for a hike in the woods, lol! I LOVE this thread! Great scores everybody! IMG_20180411_043743_419.jpg

I love this thread and haven’t been able to post anything in a long time. I bought a small box of jewelry for 20 dollars. There were more than 20 pieces so this should count. There were also some gold school rings I haven’t sold yet. I sure enjoy the things posted on here. Always learning. I am sorry about your loss diggum, it’s to hard for me to even think about. 52768E40-D3A1-43BC-980A-70B4C2A15C02.png
