Hello,

Went on a small overnight stay to a city, I usually do not go to. Found this wooden duck (14" tall) for $1.50. I couldn't say no. Any idea on value, I am thinking not much, but it will look good in backyard.

I also got 82g of sterling jewelry by milor and 4k 'F' stick pin. Stick pin has what looks like a tiny diamond. Not that it would be of much value, but any chance it's real.

Also bought a 12"tall brass giraffe. Saw it sold on ebay for $20. This will also go in backyard. Got all this for $14. I was happy.

Nice score. Very good chance the pin is 14k gold, plus it looks gold from the picture. I founds some earrings that had a weak stamp just like your pin that was missing the one in front of 4. Get it checked out and let us know if it is gold. The stick pins I've had weigh around .9 to 1.3 grams from my experience. The duck I believe was retailed at your import type stores. Those around here sell new I'm guessing in the $50. to $60. range. I see no problem getting maybe $40 + and sometimes things like that sell more then new prices.

Thank Tamrock! I thought the 4K stamp was odd, the pin attaches about where the 1 should be, but I can't find my loop so hard to tell visually if 1 is covered up. Anyway, I tested it and it comes back as 14K. Thanks for the info. Also, you nailed it on the weight: .9g.
