Craigslist, 5:45

Same or just by driving the same route every week, I leave at 6;45 on Friday but have to drop kids off at daycare first. Then Saturdays leave at 6:00 am. It is 2 o'clock right now so we're going to go to the flea market hopefully there still people there because it's about 100° outside!

Craigslist and the local newspaper. I leave at 6-6:30, depending on start times. By 9:30, i'm usually done unless i'm diggin into something good like today and yesterday.

being first can be very good, but sometimes by the end of the day, sellers realize they aren't going to get the top dollar they thought, and may be ready to deal. I prefer early, but If I see a good one, I will check it out no matter what time it is. GL.

This is so never going to happen. The only way I see those times are if I am still up. <vbg> Better stick to what I know.

Get a night job lol! I have never been & will never be a morning person, to the point that I strongly prefer to work overnight shifts. I start hitting sales Fri & Sat mornings at 6 or 7, whenever I get out of work. Otherwise I would never be able to do it.

I usually will start rolling by at least an hour early and like omega said most of the good stuff is gone within 15 minutes, I would give it a half hour here at the most. I find them by looking at the local paper and craigslist. Good luck!

The early bird does get the worm, but I'll be the odd man out:

My best scores haven't been at the early sales, but in the afternoon. One of my best finds ever was at 2:30 pm on the second day of the sale!

You gotta have the eye. At a sale one morning at 11 (late), I couldn't believe no one had picked up the HP-10C calculator for a buck. It sold for $202.50.
