Vintage Photos - Fashion Models

I bought 2 banana boxes full of high fashion ephemera from the mid 60's . I pulled out 108 black & white large photos of models wearing designer clothes and the designers who made them .

Yes they are worth money - most of the photos have documentation with them , which makes them more desirable .
I also got a few Fabric sample catalogues , Dozens of letters , Fashion Show brochures , newspaper clippings , I have a lot of research to do before I sell any - I paid $5 per box .

That's one of those perfect, open minded, ya never know and til ya go out lookin finds. I think you found treasure and something a few folks will give you more money to own. Condition looks great. Rare for the age of those kind of things.

Yep, gold mine for sure.... I would say the best outlet for that kind of stuff is Ebay for sure. I have done very well on old fashion related items on there from time to time. Those sample catalogs could bring big money, who knows... personally I think at least a hundred each, but you never know about an auction. could be 20 bucks, could be couple hundred....

any documentation with the photos will bring the prices up as well, as you know. I would say the least valuable would be the clippings, but if they are tied in with either the photos or swatch books, it wouldnt hurt to bundle them in as well.

I would double or triple your money right now if you are interested in selling..... lol.. just kidding of course, but that's a great find for sure. you will be pulling in money off of those boxes for quite a while.

My daughter has a cat like that and a gibbon and capuchen and a few others that she hasn't told about.

She is taking a two year college class about running a zoo and they are her charges.
