Found this Vase in a Goodwill Type Store; Name looks familiar?

I found this vase in a goodwill type store in Colorado. I noticed it from across the room. It may be junk, but there's something about the name on the bottom I seem to recall seeing somewhere; maybe on antiques roadshow. I can't quite make it out though, and was hoping it would sparksomeone on here. I bought it for $5 but an old price tag on the bottom read $2000.00. Lol...I thought that at first too, thats why I put it down. Then I came back to it and realized the last letter is probably an "H"...but who knows...

Looks like mexico to me too, 2000 peso about 185 or so.

to bad it wasnt a George Ohr or Rookwood piece.it might be a Metlox but i dont think so.

Just from the decoration I would say Mexico. The signature confirms it.

One of my better scores was a rook wood bowl paid 25 cents sold it on eBay for about $50 I think. I didn't even know the mark but I posted on a forum and everyone chimed in that I had something
